A Community That Shows Up

Grant runs on the people who love it. When you join Grant, you join a neighborhood that invests in its kids.

Family Volunteers
Every week, parents and grandparents volunteer in our classrooms and garden, and many families who once attended Grant now send their own children here. 

PTA
Our PTA fully funds garden, theater, and PE specialists, giving every student time to grow food, perform on stage, and stay active. 

Developing Leaders and Helpers

Buddy Program
We pair every student with a buddy from another grade to build friendships, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. 

Grant Student Leaders
6th-grade student leaders plan and run schoolwide assemblies and events. 

Morning Circles
Each day begins with community circles in every classroom, a cherished tradition that builds and sustains our culture of kindness.

Deep Roots, Bright Stage

Garden
Once a week, every student learns in our garden and outdoor classroom with a garden specialist, exploring how plants grow and where good food comes from.

Theater
Every student in grades TK-6 performs in two productions a year, led by our theater specialist.
