Counseling

Welcome to the PHS Counseling Office!

Counselors are divided by student's last names. Counselors are available for academic, personal/social issues, and post-secondary (college & career) planning.

Registration 2026-2027: 

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will begin soon! School counselors will be visiting classrooms by grade level to review course options, and students will complete a Google Form to select their courses for next year. Counselors will also be visiting local middle schools during the week of January 26th to assist incoming 9th-grade students with registration.

  • Wednesday, January 14th (during Advisory):
    Class of 2027 (Juniors) – 12th Grade Course Selection Form
  • Wednesday, January 21st (during Advisory):
    Class of 2028 (Sophomores) – 11th Grade Course Selection Form
  • Friday, January 23rd (during Advisory):
    Class of 2029 (Freshmen) – 10th Grade Course Selection Form
    • Counselors will be visiting 9th grade English classes on January 8th and 9th to go over graduation and A-G requirements, along with 4 year plans to help prepare them for their registration 
  • Week of January 26th (counselors visit 8th grade schools):
    Class of 2030 (Incoming 9th Grade) – 9th Grade Course Selection Form
  • Friday, January 30th: Final deadline for all students to submit their Google Form using their petk12 email address

MFT Support

School-Based Mental Health services are available on campus with licensed and pre-licensed therapists who can offer solution focused support for students. If longer term services are needed, we can also help with referrals for community-based mental health supports. If you are having a mental health or medical emergency please call 911. The suicide hotline is available 24 hours/ 7 days a week at 988. The crisis text line is also available 24 hours/ 7 days a week at 741-741. We strongly urge you to monitor your student's grades and attendance via Aeries. Feel free to contact your student's counselor for more information. If you have a question about your student's grade or content/curriculum in a specific class, please contact your student's teacher(s) first.
