Athletic Transportation

Petaluma City Schools and Casa Grande High School are committed to ensuring that all students are provided safe transportation to all school events. All CGHS staff who are planning a field trip or athletic contest must follow the PCS transportation policy and secure appropriate round-trip transportation for all events.

Athletic Transportation Overview PCS Transportation Board Policy

Students can ONLY drive themself IF within the City of Petaluma AND have submitted the "Student Driver Waiver". Students can NEVER transport other student(s).

When traveling less than 40 miles from the PCS district office, the following methods of transportation are approved: (1) school-provided van with trained driver, (2) parents carpooling with "Transportation of Students in Privately Owned Vehicles" form, (3) parents driving their own student(s) with "Transportation Waiver of Liability" form, (4) PCS provided bus.

When traveling more than 40 miles from the PCS district office, the following methods of transportation are approved: (1) school-provided van with trained driver, (2) PCS provided bus, (3) parents driving their own student(s) with "Transportation Waiver of Liability" form.
