The Petaluma Family Resource Center (PFRC) is located at McDowell School and is open to all Petaluma City Schools (PCS) families and adult learners. We provide assistance and resources for those navigating economic, language, and other challenges, while celebrating the resilience and diversity of our community.
Our Mission
The PFRC serves the many low-income and vulnerable families throughout PCS. We work toward the successful community integration of parents and children into the community, and we encourage all parents' active, informed participation in school and community life. Our goal is to ensure that parents, students, and adult learners can thrive through meaningful connection, inclusion, and active participation.

- Referrals for health, employment, food and housing
- Referrals and workshops for immigration and naturalization
- Mental health referrals and support programs
- Healthy cooking and nutrition classes
- Financial literacy classes
