The Local Control Accountability Plan

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for local educational agencies (LEAs) to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs.

The LCAP reports in detail how LCFF Supplemental and Concentration funds, if applicable, are used to improve student outcomes, and increase or improve services for students with a focus on unduplicated students (English Learners, Foster Youth, and Low Income students).

Beginning with the 2019-2020 LCAP districts were required to complete a Budget Overview for Parents that details how LCFF funds were used in the prior year, how they will be used in the current planning year, and specifically how funds were/will be used for unduplicated students. The Budget Overview for Parents is included in the LCAP that is linked below.

The LCAP for Petaluma City Schools for 2024-2027 was adopted/approved by the Board of Education on Tuesday, June 26, 2024.
