Choosing your neighborhood school offers families a powerful blend of convenience, connection and balance that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. Walking or biking to school saves time, reduces traffic congestion and supports healthier daily routines, while shorter commutes mean more time for family, activities and rest. Neighborhood schools naturally embed students and families in their local community, friendships form close to home, caregivers connect more easily and children grow up learning alongside neighbors they see every day
