Petaluma High School offers a robust Future Farmers of America (FFA) program with courses in Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Science, and Wildlife and Natural Resources. A unique element of the PHS FFA program is the student-operated Petaluma Wildlife and Natural Science Museum. Petaluma High FFA is supported by an involved booster organization and offers students opportunities to hold leadership positions and gain real-world experience through Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Petaluma FFACasa Grande High School is home to the United Anglers of Casa Grande, a Non-Profit Organization whose purpose is to promote environmental awareness through education and hands-on experience and to save a species from extinction. The United Anglers facility includes an active fish hatchery that serves as the backup for the Lake Sonoma hatchery and supports the growth of the steelhead trout population in California. Founded in 1982, the program is responsible for the restoration of Adobe Creek in Petaluma. For more information, click the button below.
