At Petaluma City Schools, we’re committed to supporting every student—especially those in foster care. We understand the unique challenges foster youth may face and work to ensure they have access to the resources, relationships, and support they need to thrive.
Our Petaluma City Schools Family Mentor provides support to all foster youth TK-12. She works with school staff, social workers, and families to assure foster youth are thriving and accessing their education. PCS can advocate for additional support to remove barriers; free transportation, and tutoring are available to foster youth (tutoring services available starting 2025-2026).
